Getting started

How long does onboarding take?+
Most schools are live within days, not months, on our standard cloud. Larger, multi-branch schools or those requesting dedicated infrastructure take longer — we'll give you a specific timeline once we understand your school's size and setup.
Can we migrate from our current software or spreadsheets?+
Yes. We support bulk import for students, staff and historical academic records. Our onboarding team works with your existing data — Excel sheets, another ERP's export, or paper registers — to get your school's history into EduCampusOS accurately.
Do we need our own IT team to run this?+
No. EduCampusOS is cloud-hosted and managed by us — no server to maintain, no IT staff required on your end. Your admin team just needs a browser.

Pricing & contracts

Is pricing really not per student?+
Correct. Pricing is set by which size category your school falls into (Small, Medium, Large, Enterprise) and which service tier you choose (Basic, Advance, Premium) — not by headcount. Admitting more students doesn't change your bill mid-year. See Pricing for the full breakdown.
Are there any hidden costs?+
One, and we tell you upfront: SMS and WhatsApp messages are billed at the same pass-through telecom rate we pay, since that's a real third-party cost no vendor can absorb into a flat fee. No setup fees, no per-module unlock fees, no surprise renewal increases.
What happens to our data if we decide to leave?+
Every student, staff, financial and academic record you've entered is yours to export, any time, in a usable format — not a locked file only we can open. No exit fees, no friction designed to make leaving harder than staying.

Security & data

Is our data DPDP Act 2023 compliant?+
Yes — consent capture, data export, right-to-erasure and breach-notification workflows are built into the platform. See Security & Trust for the full detail.
Can we get our own dedicated server instead of shared cloud?+
Yes, on request — large trusts, multi-branch groups and boards with data-residency requirements can move to dedicated infrastructure that isn't shared with any other school. Talk to us for details.
Who can see our students' data internally?+
Access is role-based — a librarian sees library records, a bus driver sees the route, a teacher sees their own classes. No one on our team or yours sees more than their role requires, and every action is logged.

Class IQ & AI

What exactly is Class IQ?+
Class IQ is adaptive practice mapped to your school's actual syllabus — it adjusts each student's questions in real time and gives teachers a plain-language gap report per student, per topic. It's live today. See Class IQ for a real example.
Are the Report Assistant and Library Study Assistant available now?+
Yes — both are live. The Report Assistant answers plain-English questions using a fixed set of pre-approved, security-reviewed report templates (it never writes its own queries), scoped to what the asking role can see. The Library Study Assistant answers questions about one library resource at a time — a PDF, audiobook, or video a student has open — strictly from that resource's own content, and is enabled per school. See the AI layer for the full detail.

Support

How do we report a bug or ask for help?+
Once you're a customer, use Raise a Case from inside EduCampusOS — you'll get a case reference number immediately and an email confirmation, and our team tracks it through to resolution. Not logged in, or not a customer yet? Talk to us and we'll take it from there.
Do you offer training for our staff?+
Yes — onboarding includes guided setup, and Advance/Premium plans include dedicated onboarding support. Raise a training request as a case any time after that.
